And on top of all these fun things lined up for our December, we also have Lane's Christmas Program, holiday parties, soccer games, and more! Lots of busy weekends ahead!

Thanksgiving Weekend Recap

Wow, what a fun week/weekend we have had! It's been busy...but fun! Oh and this post is kind of long, sorry!
.
Wednesday morning the boys and I headed down to Waco to spend Thanksgiving. Paul had to work some so he met us down there. Wednesday was my Aunt's birthday, so that night we celebrated by going to dinner at Outback! After dinner the girls went to see Breaking Dawn... Finally! I thought it was so good!!

The Moore Fam

Thanksgiving morning the boys woke early! We started the day out by enjoying coffee, muffins, and scoping out the Black Friday Ads! Love this stinker's face!

Then us adults got to cooking! The boys played and played! Our Thanksgiving family photo!

Levi chowed down...Lane not so much!

This year was a little different. After eating our Thanksgiving meal, Paul and I headed to Austin to go to the Texas-TCU game! We got my Uncle's tickets last minute and couldn't refuse!!
.
We met Papa, Robin, and Kelly for some pre-game tailgate!

Even though the game was less than stellar, it was so fun to be apart of the new Thanksgiving tradition, minus the Aggies!
Paul and I got home around midnight, then Angie, Haley, and myself went out to do a little Black Friday shopping! We stayed out way too late...think 5 am....needless to say I slept in late Friday!
.
Friday evening, after everyone was rested, we decided to take a family trip to the movie! We saw Wreck it Ralph. It was a super cute movie!

Even Levi got to go! He was a mess as usual, but we finished the movie!!

And today...Today we all traveled to Midlothian to watch my cousin Zach's playoff game. They played Colleyville Heritage and won!! Lane loves watching his cousin's play football!! Luckily he has two who play Varsity football and both teams are still in the playoffs!

Lane and Zach

The crew! Minus Nana, Papa, and Robin who were there also just not in the pic!

Whew, we did alot in three and a half days! We had a great Thanksgiving weekend. So grateful for an awesome family!! Not to mention my boys love it there! I hardly see Lane when we are there...he is so busy playing!!
.
Tomorrow I am looking forward to relaxing in our pj's and we are going to be Christmas decorating!!! I am so excited!!
.
Hope everyone's Thanksgiving celebrations were great!

Giving Thanks: Day 7

Today I am thankful for my hubby, Paul!
.
I consider myself lucky and fortunate to have met this man 12 years ago (12...crazy!) in college!

He is the best husband I could have ever dreamed of. He is sweet, funny, caring, hard-working, honest, responsible, and a million other things! He puts us first no matter what!
 I don't know how I got him, but I'm glad he's mine!
And he is an amazing dad. He loves his boys to pieces! I wish nothing more but for them to grow up to be just like him!
I'm so thankful for him!

Giving Thanks: Day 6

Today I am thankful for Levi!
.
Oh what to say about this little boy! I became an official boy mom when I had him!
He is my "wild child"! He keeps us on our toes always! He is funny, sweet, and playful.

He completed our family!

We find ourselves saying no about a hundred times a day to him!
I love watching him grow up and he loves his brother! I am so thankful for this sweet little boy!!

Giving Thanks: Day 5

Today I am thankful for Lane.
.
There are no words to describe how much I love this little boy. He made me a mommy for the very first time and that is something so special.

He is a kind, smart, funny, tender-hearted, athletic, and polite.

I have been so blessed to be his mommy these four years. I love watching him grow up and accomplish and learn new things.

This age right now...at this very moment, is my favorite. If I could hold him here for awhile I would.
Thank  you Lane for being YOU! I love you!

Giving Thanks: Day 3

Today I am thankful for all the "small things" in my life that make me happy. Life would be a little less enjoyable without them!

Books
Books, and Target, are my happy place. I love reading. Nothing like curling up with a good book...now if I can only transfer that to my boys!

Starbucks
Yes I love me a good Vanilla Latte! Nothing better than walking into a Starbucks!

Mani's and Pedi's
These are so worth every penny! I'm thankful for those rare moments I can get away and let some sweet lady rub my hands and feet, ha! And not to mention the free wine and massaging chair!

Date Nights
So grateful for those times when Paul and I can get away. Last night we got to get away, have dinner, and do some early Christmas shopping!

The small things matter! What small things make you happy??

Thanksgiving Party #1

Yesterday Lane's class had their little Thanksgiving celebration at school. Seeing how I have already missed a ton of days this year, I couldn't take off. However, it is important to Paul and I that one of us always try to be at the boys' parties so Paul was able to get away at lunch and go!
.
This picture was of the boys before school yesterday! Love these shirts from Old Navy!

I left my small camera with Paul under strict orders to take "lots of pictures"! Well...daddy kinda slipped on that one...he only took about five! Oh well...A for effort!
.

 Silly turkey
This is one of Lane's best buds, Dash!
And two of his favorite "girl friends"! Faith, the one on the right, and Lane are always together!
And that's about it for pics! Yep, no class shot, no teacher shot, or them eating shot, ha!!
.
This was the centerpiece that each kid made. I absolutely love what Lane said he was thankful for....
So sweet!!
.
Even though I am out all next week, the boys will be going for a couple of hours on Monday-Wednesday. I usually never send them when I'm off, but I feel like I have a million things I need to get done and having some free time in the mornings will let me! Plus, Wednesday is Levi's little Thanksgiving celebration!
.
Giving thanks day three will come later today...but I am thankful for a whole week off school and date night with the hubs tonight!

Giving Thanks: Day 2

Today I am super thankful for SSA, our boys school.

I don't call it a daycare because it truly isn't! I remember moving to Keller and beginning the search for a daycare. I called several places and their waiting lists were all booked. I was getting a pedicure one day and ran into some lady, and after talking about several places she didn't recommend, she mentioned SS. So that afternoon I called, and after learning that they had ONE opening left for Lane's room for the next year, Paul and I went in for a tour, and we never looked back!
.
We have been there since Lane was about five months old and I can honestly say that it has been the biggest blessing. It is an amazing school. Everything from the teachers, the small feel, to what all they teach...it's just been above and beyond.
.
There is not one teacher there who doesn't know our boys. I know that they are well taken cared for and loved there.
.
I love the fact that Lane was grown up with the same kiddos from the infant room. It's like a little family! And I love all the mommy friends that I have made!
.
And as far as learning...it amazes me how much Lane has learned there!
.
I am so so grateful for this special place!

Giving Thanks: Day 1

I'v been seeing all over Facebook people giving thanks every day of November...and while I had every intention of doing that as well...well...it just didn't happen! (Sidenote: I was supposed to post the yesterday, but forgot to go back and hit publish...oops!)
.

I have so much to be thankful for and wanted to "give thanks" along with everyone else, so since we are a week out from Thanksgiving, I thought I would do "A Week of Giving Thanks".
.
So for Day 1....
Today I am so very thankful for our new home! Paul and I have worked super hard and are fortunate enough to have been able to build this house!! We call it our "forever home" because we plan on this being our home for a very long time!
.
We've been in a little less than a month and already we have made memories here. I can't wait to see all the new memories that will be made in this home!
(I'll be back later today with day two!)

Fun in the Fridge

Last night Lane was asking for something to drink. I looked over and saw this little head in the fridge..Paul went over and saw that Levi was right there with Lane standing in the fridge!! I guess even a fridge is fun to play in!!
