Fellowship Friends Costume Parade

This morning Levi had a costume parade at his preschool! Is there anything cuter than kids in costumes!?! Um, no...they are just too dang cute!
.
I'm one of those moms who does not let the kids wear their costumes until the big day, or at school, so he was very ready to become THOR!!
.
That's right...I have TWO Avengers on my hands this year! You'll see Lane tomorrow!

Not sure what's up with the squinty face in these!

His class!

My boys are SO excited for tomorrow!! It's going to be a fun day...Boo Breakfast, fun after school Halloween snack, neighborhood crew dinner, and trick-or-treating! Oh and not to mention to top it all off, Lane's whole school in going to the Texas Motor Speedway for their Read to Speed Assembly....so it can't get much better for Lane man! He's pumped...I just hope the rain holds off so they can go tomorrow!
.
I can't wait to see all of your sweet kids in costume!! Happy Wednesday friends!!

Weekend Wrap-Up!

We had a fun, relaxing weekend! Friday afternoon the boys got a super fun box of Halloween goodies from Aunt Brittany, Uncle Cory, and Brody! Lane loved the spiders and web!

They wasted no time digging in!

Then we loaded up and met went to the Birdville football game to watch my cousin. Robin gave the boys their annual pumpkins! This year it was Nascar and a Ninja Turtle! So cute!

Lane rocking his spider gloves from Aunt Brittany!

Saturday morning we had two games. Lane got to finally play catcher! He was super excited about it, not to mention super cute in the gear, however he informed us he didn't like it!

After games we got lunch and haircuts....I had to snap a pic because all three of my boys took over one half of the salon!
Saturday afternoon my Aunt and Haley came up from Waco to spend the night and hang out! The boys loved having Haley and her friend Berkley here!! We ate, played, and stayed up real late to watch Texas play!

Sunday morning I took Lane to McD's for a breakfast playdate! You would think these four still go to the same school the way they just pick right up together! Love them! And I loved catching up with their mamas!

We spent the rest of Sunday visiting, eating, and doing a little shopping in Southlake!
.
We are gearing up for Halloween in a couple of days. Hopefully the rain holds off and lets these kids do some Trick-or-Treating!

I hope you've noticed how much I have loved being a writer for Ft. Worth Moms Blog. It has been such a great opportunity to develop my writing, play a part in connecting moms in our city, and to get to know the other women on our fabulous team.

DIY Disney: Autograph Books

Our Disney trip is quickly approaching and I am definitely in 'Disney Mode"! I've been reading all sorts of blogs and scouring Pinterest for the best tips and tricks of Disney!
.
Autographs books are a must for the trip, and I knew that I could probably come up with something way cuter than the ones Disney sells, not to mention cheaper than the ones the sell, so I set out to make them myself!
Here is my finished product...

Here's what I used:
*6x6 Spiral bound sketcher's notebook for Hobby Lobby
*Disney stickers
*Foam letters
*Mickey washi tape
*Scrapbook paper

And here is the inside cover and first page!! I love how it turned out!! I wanted to add some ribbon, however I may get vetoed on that one from the hubs claiming ribbon would be "girly"! Oh well!

I was debating on making Levi his own, not thinking he'd be old enough for it, but he is at the "I want to do everything single thing my brother does", so I went ahead and made him one!

First Disney craft done!!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Today we ventured out to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch, a yearly tradition! It seems like every single person had the same idea...I swear it gets more crowded every year! But we fought the crowds, and the boys had a great time!
.
They both loved the mazes! They went through the small one probably twenty times!

One thing I love about this patch is all the super cute photo opts!

Levi spotted Jake quick!

And the Monsters U boys!

This year they had the Duck Dynasty crew! Hilarious!

Gearing up for Disney!

Holly, Claire, and Coen met us out there!

I love this sweet picture!

Some family pic fun while waiting in line for the train...

We let the boys ride together by themselves and they loved it!!! So cute!

Another trip to the patch in the books!
