ve been missing a good book! Lane is starting to nap longer during the day and going to sleep at a regular time, so I'm going to try and slip in some reading here and there!I've chosen to start with Peony in Love. Earlier in the year I read Lisa See's Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, and absolutely loved it. I love the way this author writes...everything from the setting, China, the character description, the themes...it was so good and I wanted to read her second novel!!
So hopefully my little Lane will let me read every once in a while! It keeps me sane!! I'll keep you posted on how this one turns out!
