Summer Fun

It's only Wednesday and this week has already been packed with lots of fun!! Saturday night we got the family together to have a  bowling night. Lane has never been and has been wanting to go. So we headed up to Main Event for some fun!

Paul and I are playing in a co-ed summer softball league, and Sunday afternoon we had our first game! It was really fun and I'm sure there will be more pics to come, but anyway after the game we all went to Fuzzy's to grab some drinks and we just happened to run into Darren Woodson!!! Talk about cool! So of course we did the only natural thing....grabbed a camera and bugged the poor dude for a pic! It was pretty neat!

Monday was pretty low key...lots of laundry, lots of playing, and lots of Disney Jr, ha!

Tuesday morning started with a date with my oldest! I bought us tickets to Southlakes' Summer Movie Program. That day was Rio! Ten movies for $6 bucks...not bad!

That night I went to the Ranger game with some friends! It was SUPER HOT but we had a great time hanging out!! And they won!!

And today, Lane and I met up with some of my friends, Jamie and Dawn, and their kids for a little playdate! We met up for lunch then headed to their community pool, which was awesome, for some swimming fun!

Such a fun day!! Gotta love summer!! On a different note.... I  have exactly ONE full day left until I turn 3-0! Yikes!! How should I spend the last day of the decade...hmmmmm???

Painting Playdate

Today we met Stefanie and her kids in Arlington at Creative Hands to let the kids enjoy some painting! The kids had a great time and it was a great place for a playdate! Lane chose a Spiderman face to paint.

While they were drying we went to McD's for a little lunch and play then we went back to pick up their art. We had a fun time today and looking forward to more playdates with Stef's gang!!

Father's Day 2012

Wow, I can't believe it's been almost two weeks sinced I last blogged! This past week kept us pretty busy...lots of playdates and lots of fun!! We are just enjoying summer...I only wish we were sleeping in longer, ha!

Today we celebrated Father's Day! I couldn't ask for a better daddy for our boys! They love him to pieces!
.

I wanted to make him something kinda fun...so after seeing some ideas, I decided to make him a "guy gift basket"! I loved how it turned out!! We woke up this morning and gave him his goodies!

All of Paul's favorites....Miller Lite, Sunflower Seeds, Slim Jims (yuck), Raisinets, Hot Tamales, and Rolos!! He loved it!!

I found this fill-in-the-blank from Pinterest as well! Lane loved me asking him these questions and some of his answers were pretty funny!

Most of the day was spent haning out, playing, a little shopping, and watching the Nascar race! A wonderful relaxing day loving on daddy!!

Memorial Weekend

This year for Memorial Day weekend we headed to Victoria! Paul's mom and step dad recently got their pool and patio all finished, so we took full advantage of it! We had a great time. The kids swam all day long, we ate lots of food, made smores, and had a great time visiting with everyone!!

On our way back we were in desperate need of a break! So we stopped in Waco at my aunts for a couple of hours. Lane wasted no time in taking advantage of another pool and more cousins!
