Weekend Fun

This past weekend was lots of fun. We spent alot of fun family time together. We are gearing up for our vacation, so Saturday was spent out and about. We did a little shopping, picking up last minute stuff, ate lunch then stopped by this fun indoor Safari park in Southlake that I found through a friends blog! It was pretty cool, there was different activities kids could do. Lane had a blast and it was great to be indoors and still have fun!

Lanes loves to jump and bounce, so this cool little trampoline was right up his alley! We definitely need one of these at home!!

His first time in a real ball pit. A little hesitant at first, probably b/c there were so many balls, but he warmed up quick!

Then they had a train ride! Lane rode once with mommy, then with daddy!

Then they had mechanical animals! They were hilarious. Lane was a bit scared, but once it started he just sat there and looked.

And this is him climbing the stairs to the slide BY HIMSELF!!! My boy is getting too big!!

On Sunday we headed out to a community pool for the afternoon. This is where Lane had swim lessons but we went to the outdoor pool. The water was cold but he enjoyed himself! I didn't get that many pics b/c we were both in the water most of the time!

We are leaving tomorrow for our vacation! We are flying to North Carolina, to my mom's, then we will head down to Myrtle Beach for a few days then back up to D.C. for a couple of days!! I'm so excited but nervous about the plane ride! I'm sure it will be a very different experience than last time when he was a mere four months old and didn't talk, didn't cry much, and couldn't move!!! So we'll see how it goes! We will be gone until the Aug. 2nd!!! So see ya soon!

Ya'll did so much more at Indoor Safari than we did; we didn't do the train ride or the animal rides? How were the animal rides? We're thinking about that place for Tyler's first birthday! Lane looks like he had a blast there! You guys have a great vacation; we're SO ready to go as well!
