Home Sweet Home

Yes, we are finally home!! A two week trip can definitely wear you out. We got back Sunday afternoon and since then I have been catching up on laundry, resting, and cleaning house. It feels like forever since I last blogged!! Our trip was awesome! We flew into North Carolina, where my mom lives. Then we headed down to Myrtle Beach for about six days! That place was so much fun. We had a great condo, the beach was fun, and the nightlife there is great. There was so much to do. Lane had alot of fun, however, he wanted nothing to do with the beach! We tired on two days and both times he cried and wanted to be held! So he spent most of the days at the indoor waterpark with grammie and aunt Rachel, and he was happy! I think the highlight for me was getting to parasail! I've always wanted to do it however, my husband is not up to that sort of stuff so I've never had anyone to do it with! It was awesome though and overall Myrtle Beach was very fun times!!

After the beach we headed back to N.C. for a days rest then took off for Washington D.C. I don't know why but I absolutely love D.C. Again we had a great time, lots and lots of walking! Lane was a trooper the whole time! Occasionally he got a little fussy, mainly because he wanted to run around and play! We did everything from the musems, touring the capitol and Fords' Theater, seeing all the monuments, we covered it all! The one thing we didn't get to do was go to the National Holocaust Museum...so that's first on my list for next time!
