Week Wrap-Up

First off, sorry for the lack of posting...I have been busy with school. I am happy to say that I am done for the summer! It was good to get back for the short amount of time, but I am definitely ready to spend every day with Lane again!

This past week Lane experienced a couple firsts! Uncle Andy graduated this week so Paul headed down to Victoria with Lane and without me!! Yes, I had to spend the first nights away from little man! Paul said he did awesome on the trip and got so much lovin' from everyone! And I know it was much harder on me than Lane! He also spent his first night in a hotel! He stayed with aunt Holly and cousin Coen! So, first long road trip in the books...and I must brag on my hubby for a moment...He is such an awesome dad..to take a two month old, six hours away...by himself!! He is so great and I am just lucky to have such an amazing husband!

We decided to try the Bebe Pod out...we didn't know if Lane would be able to sit in it but we tried it and he did! He was so funny....it came with a toy and Lane actually grabbed the toy and was playing it! He is growing like a weed!

I just love the top pic. We put his little UT hat on him! So cute. We also have been having paci wars!! We have been trying to switch out the paci's that Lane uses...but Lane is pretty adament that he only likes this one...the huge circle green thing that the hospital uses!! I can switch them for about two minutes then he spits it right out. So much for all the cute paci's that I got....I guess we will live with this one!

I will be better about posting from now on. I want to say HAPPY GRADUATION to ANDY!!! He is on to the Marines and I know he will do great!
