What a BUSY weekend we had! The weekend started off Friday night with Book Club! Our February book was the Color of Heaven. It was a good book...very easy read. It was a fun night...lots of laughs, lots of food, lots of wine...yep a fun night by me!
Saturday started off with our first soccer game of the Spring season. Paul is coaching the Strikers again for round two! We have three new boys and they all did great in the game! And thank goodness it wasn't that cold out there!
.
After the game we grabbed lunch at Kincaids, then spent the rest of the afternoon running errands for our trip this week. In true Tara fashion, I waited till the last minute to buy what I need! That evening my grandparents came over and we went to this yummy new BBQ place in Roanoke, Hard Eight! After waiting in a semi long line, we all stuffed ourselves! Levi was very fussy that night so it kinda made for a stressful dinner!
.
Sunday we woke up and went to one of our favorite breakfast places, Panera! Then we headed to Target to pick up all the stuff we needed for the boys for the week. At 2:00, I headed out to my cousin Amanda's wedding shower...and Paul stayed home with the boys...one of which was anxiously awaiting the Daytona 500 to come on, and to his disappointment it did not.
After the shower, my aunt, grandma, and I rushed back to my house to get the boys loaded up and sent off to Waco for the week...yes the whole week.
.
This is what packing for two boys for a week looks like!
I'm a sad to be leaving them for so long, but I know that they will be well taken cared of, and probably spoiled!! I told my cousin Haley that she has to post pics of the boys on FB and what not through the week so I can see them, and she didn't waste any time. This is what she sent me last night!! As you can see Lane is already loving it and Levi is a little sad. I hope he adjusts quickly!
After the boys left, Paul and I, again, had one more thing to go get, then we enjoyed a late Sunday night dinner at PF Changs! We got our fortune cookies at the end of the meal...and I about died when I read mine! Seeing how we are traveling this week...it was so appropriate!
.
As far as where Paul and I are going....!!!
.
We are headed back to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas for Paul's 3rd Founder's Club Trip!! Once again Paul kicked butt this year and earned a spot of the trip! We are both so excited to go back...last years trip was not the best...keep in mind I was about 7 1/2 months preggo...they lost my luggage and to top it off Paul had a severe reaction to something and was feeling awful the last couple of days there...so we are both ready for a much needed "do-over" and just some much needed R&R!!
Our boys have worn us out, ha!!
