Pumpkin Patch!

Hello Monday! This weekend seemed to fly by, but it was a good one! No October is complete in my book without a trip to the pumpkin patch! The boys have been asking to go, so Sunday we went! I love this tradition so much and I love how much my boys love it!

They both LOVE the mazes!! There is a small one and a"big kid" one....I seriously think we need to build one in our backyard...I may never see them!

On another note...Lane had a great sport weekend...he had three games (2 bball and 1 soccer) and won all three!!! His baseball team is currently in first and needless to say he is thrilled!! No soccer pics but here he is in baseball action!!

{FIVE ON FRIDAY}

Happy Friday Friends!! So glad that this is back, I love perusing blogs and reading through everyone's!!

So here is what I'm loving today...

We got our Scarf Swap partners this week and I am excited to send her a fun little package!!

My new favorite scent from BBW...so so good!!

I've had my eye on this adorable shirt and finally ordered it this week!! I cannot wait to get it in!!!

And couldn't let today go by without mentioning the big weekend...TEXAS-OU!!!

It'll be tough this week but I'm hopeful!!!

My First Stitch

Well I jumped on the bandwagon and joined Stitch Fix! You can read all about it here, but the jest is that it's an online stylist that ships clothes and accessories straight to your door and you can either buy or not!

Cool concept huh!? What appealed most to me, other than the cute things I was seeing all over IG and blogs, was the convenience of it. Unless it's grabbing something cute from Target, I rarely get out and clothes shop for myself these days! 

.

So I signed up, filled out the super long, super detailed style profile, and eagerly awaited my box!

.

It finally arrived last week!

Every box comes with 5 pieces...here's what was inside...

1) A very cute purple tank. I really liked this on, fit great, not tight but flowy...I didn't end up keeping it because I really didn't want to spend $$ on a tank going into colder weather season! Although you would've thought it was summer out today, ha!

.

2) Light grey knit sweater....I loved this and kept this one! It fits great, and will be perfect with some skinny jeans and boots!

3) A very dark pair of skinny jeans. Did not keep these...way too dark for my taste and the fit was wrong.

.

4) Ash grey skinny pants. Although I liked these and they fit good, I didn't end up keeping these either. I just didn't see myself wearing these often, and would rather spend my $$ on pieces I would wear often!

My 5th item was a gold feather bracelet. It was cute but not me...and priced at $35 bucks just didn't do it for me!

.

Overall thoughts....I love the idea and concept! I was really pleased and have already scheduled my next Fix!! I did go in and ask for more Fall pieces, maybe a vest, so we will see!! 

Two Weeks Too Long...Catching Up!

I can't believe I haven't blogged in TWO weeks....EEK!! I really have had every good intention, but finding time is tricky these days! Working three days, practices three nights, weekends crammed with 3, sometimes 4 games, well ya'll know...it's crazy!!! ADD in all my favorite Fall shows returning(um, Parenthood, Nashville, Amazing Race, Survivor), and well, yea.

.

Anyway I am DETERMINED to  get back to blogging consistently, and I have stuff I need to blog about (my first Stitch Fix, 30in2014 Book Challenge)! So hang in there readers!!

For now, let's play a little catch up shall we... 

Two weekends ago we hit downtown FW with our dear friends Megan and Kyle to celebrate Megan's birthday! We went to Simply Fondue and had THE BEST time! It was all of our first time there and it is a fun place!! This baby right here was my fav!

Awhile back we booked my home a flight in for the weekend to come and visit and see the boys games! She came in on Thursday and left last night! The weather stayed perfect and she was able to watch all three games!

Lunch with Lane on Friday!

Paul and I caught a late night movie Saturday night!! It was so nice to be able to slip out for a few hours while my mom watched the boys! We saw Gone Girl, and oh my, what a movie!! I read the book a while back and had a love/hate relationship with it, but the movie was great!! 

Lane had quite the cheering section at his game yesterday...I think I counted seven, not including myself and Paul! He loves having family come!! These sisters all showed up in pink!

And today was a big day for Levi...his first dentist appointment! I was skeptical! But he did awesome, no crying at all and even did x-rays!!

And that my friends is what we've been doing! A couple of things I'm excited about and looking forward too...

*Participating in my 2nd Scarf Swap!! I got my partner today and I'm excited to shop for her!

*Somehow squeezing in a trip to the Pumpkin Patch, one of my favorite Fall activities!

*A three day weekend coming up next week!

*Our Fall family pictures in about two and a half weeks!! However I don't have a clue what I want to do for outfits!!

*Ordering a new Life Planner soon (mine runs out next month)!! I've been a little tempted to try something different, but I think I'm going to stick with old faithful!!

Texas Game Day!

It's no secret that we are Longhorn fans around here! We love football season and we love our Longhorns (even when we are having rough seasons!). The Fall after Lane turned three years old, we took him to his first  Texas game in Austin, you can take a look back here! So this season it was Levi's turn! This past Saturday we went to the UCLA game at AT&T Stadium, and even though it wasn't Austin, Levi was pumped!

He was talked and waited on this day for awhile and was so excited! We tailgated with my family and has so much fun! Lane had a late baseball game, so him and Paul met us right before game time!

My cousin Garrett celebrated his 18th birthday that day!

Even though we lost, Levi had the BEST time!! I can't wait to take him to a game in Austin too!! Hook 'Em!!
