Amanda's Bachelorette

Last Saturday I helped host Amanda's Bachelorette/Lingerie party at my house. It was a very fun evening!!

Park Fun

Man Spring Break went by fast!! We had a great week hanging out with family and doing all sorts of fun stuff!! I have many blog posts ready and coming your way! It ended with my cousin's wedding and that was so much fun, and a blog post all its' own!

I forget the day...but one day we went to the park! It was gorgeous early on last week and we had to take  our first trip of the season! We pulled up and it was PACKED!! Everyone was taking full advantage of the nice weather!

We took the boys' bikes and let them ride...they went around so many times!

Then we heard the ice cream truck and Grammie got us all ice cream! Of course Lane choose Batman.

Yum Yum...and man those things melt fast!

....and boy did he like it!!!

It was a fun afternoon at the park!

A Year of Fun Dating: March Date

For Valentine's Day this year, I was struggling with what to get Paul. He is so hard to buy for. After seeing a couple different ideas on Pinterest and a blog, I decided to make something....and this is what came out...

So what is a year of fun dating? Well, I thought it would be neat to come up with one date for the next year! But these weren't just any ole dates. We kinda get stuck in the "date rut"...you know dinner and a movie...which is great, but I thought since I was doing this...why not change it up. So for this little experiment, I came up with 12 dates that are all new things we have never done together!

I brainstormed the dates, typed them up, and put them together in a cute little book. All the dates are sealed, and on the beginning of each month Paul will open the "date card" and see what we get to do that month!

I am excited about all the dates, and Paul is pretty excited about it too! It'll be fun seeing his reaction to each of them. Date Night is something Paul and I treasure and think is so important and healthy to a marriage.

So here is our March Date....

Levi Austin: 10 Months

On Leap Day...Mr. Levi was busy turning 10 months!!! I can't believe we are just two short months away from his first birthday!! He was in Waco, so I sent his monthly sticker with my aunt to make sure we had a picture! Haley did a great job putting this together for us!

Little Mister, here are some things about you at 10 months:

*You are just about over baby food!! You will take a couple of bites then turn away. So we have started table food...so far you have had...cheese, rice, beans, avacado, bread, carrots, mashed potatoes. Probably some more but I can't think of any. You love cheerios and these new Gerber Graduates Cinnamon Maple puff things.

.

*You LOVE to play with Lane's toys. You will follow him in his room all the time...and most of the time he wants you out, ha!

.

*The only true word you are saying is still "dada". Still waiting for momma.

.

*You are SO close to walking. You can stand unsupported by yourself and pull up on everything!

.

*You are a very good sleeper at night.

.

*You are very quickly outgrowing your infant car seat! Daddy wants to turn you around already, but I'm trying to hang on closer till one year.

.

*You are in 12-18 clothes.

.

*You LOVE Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Jr. When it comes on you turn straight to the TV, start talking and dancing...it is SO cute!!

You are such a smiley, happy baby! Your daddy and I cannot imagine our life without you in it!

Lane and Levi had an awesome week in Waco! Lane didn't think twice that we weren't around, while Levi struggled a little in the beginning. But as you can see from the pics they were well taken care of and very spoiled!

All the fun included going to a bounce house, Chucky Cheese, the Zoo, Mickey D's to play, visited the park, and went to their first track meets...to watch Haley and Zack run! They even came home with some new toys!

.

We are beyond blessed to have family that is willing to take our boys and love on them while we are gone. Thank you so much to Angie, Mark, Nana and the kids for everything ya'll did...and thank you Terry for picking them up and keeping them all day Sunday until we got home!! Very much appreciated!

Bahamas 2012

Our trip this year was awesome! We went a day early this year and I'm so glad we did! No lost luggage (until coming home..I guess we can't escape it, ha), no being preggo, and no kiddos needing us every minute of the day!! Just us two getting to spend time together!

Majority of our days were spent laying on the beach! We would get to the beach about 9:30 or 10 and stay close till 4:30 or 5 when it would be time to head up and get ready for the evenings! Between the Dallas and Ft. Worth offices, there were probably about twenty people in our group, so we always had company on the beach!! And you can better believe that we had drinks in hand non-stop!

We arrived to a little rain Tuesday afternoon...our view.

This sums up my days...drink in one hand...Kindle in the other!

On our last morning there, we did the Dolphin Cay adventure! Paul was a tiny bit hungover this morning, but we both loved it! Here we are waiting.

On our last night, we went to a nice dinner with just the Ft. Worth and Dallas peeps! It was at a resturant called Dune...where some scenes from Casino Royale were filmed...very cool!

Great trip!! So proud of Paul for making it for his third straight year! Another adventure in the books!
