Ready or Not...Here he Comes!!

It's set, I am begin induced on Tuesday!!! I went to the doctor on Friday and still NO change! He must really be comfortable in there! So it looks like his birthday will be March 25. Paul and I are very exicted and cannot wait! I am also getting very scared. I hope I can make it through the pain!!

If I don't post before Tuesday, then I will post as soon as I can and share some pictures!

Things are Changing...

Well, two things are official now....1- We are in our new home!!! We got moved in and have been working on unpacking and "settling" into the house. We got Lane's nursery completely ready for him! Thanks to the help of family, we got it done pretty quick. I did as much as I could, but Paul took the brunt of the move! Poor thing, putting together SO many things!! Everything looks great and I am so excited to be here in our first home together!

2nd official thing...I am done working!!! At least until May 26th! Friday was my last day at school. It was very wierd to say goodbye to the kids and "leave them in someone else's hands". Even though I may complain every so often, they are my kiddos and I will miss them! Okay well some more than others! But right now I owe all my attention to my own little one who still has not made it into this world!!

I am 38 weeks and 4 days. I went to the doctor on Friday and still no progress made. Everything looks good though, so no worries, just waiting on when he wants to come out! Honestly, it would be good if he would give Paul and I a week to rest up, but I am very anxious for him to come. So we will just keep waiting!

It's Official...

We are homeowners!!!!

Today we closed on our new home. Paul and I are very exicted about everything new that is happening in our lives. We are so blessed that everything has worked out for us! After we closed, we went and got our keys and now it's moving time! Paul has been so great seeing how I'm not much of a help right now! He has done alot and I just kinda have to sit there and watch!!

On baby news...I will be 37 weeks on Thursday!! Yes 37, it's crazy to think I am almost done! Life is getting pretty uncomfortable right now though! I think I am definitely ready for Lane to get here, however, I am a bit nervous and scared about L&D !!! I go to the docs on Friday so we will see if I have made any progress!

So this weekend was very busy but very fun! It started with my mom flying in for my baby shower, which was yesterday! Even though the weather was yucky, on Saturday we went to do a little baby shopping. We picked out Lane's coming home outfit...which is precious! I can't wait to see him in it. Sunday was the shower! It was wonderful! So many people came and we got SO much stuff for Lane! Which I am extremely grateful for! Paul and I are so blessed to have so many people who are there for us! I honestly don't know if Lane will be able to wear all the clothes he has! I think I may have to change him twice a day! I have to say that my aunt Terry did such an amazing job on everything that she did for the shower! She made the cutest diaper cake ever! I absolutely love it! She also made my cake, which is always yummy! Overall, the shower was awesome and I had such a good time and I got to see people who I have not seen in a while!

In other news, our house is just about complete! We will be closing in about two and a half weeks! I am excited to get in. I will be 35 weeks this Thursday!! It is getting so close to d-day!

Childbirth Classes

So Paul and I have been going to childbirth classes for about a month now. I find them very helpful and enjoyable. I've learned about so many new and wonderful things that are going to soon be happening to me...yeah. While Paul sits there and giggles under his breath...he finds all this very gross!! Which I'm sure most men do! But nothing beats two hours a week of pregnancy talk...back aches, hemmorides, c-sections, labor....and such! I really have learned alot and feel like I am more educated on the wonderful world of pregnancy! And props to my awesome hubby who has been such a good sport! Even though he would never admit it, he has learned alot to!!

We are within about eight weeks till d-day!! (delivery) Time has seemed to fly by, however when I stop and say to myself "I have been pregnant since July"...than it seems like it's been a long time! I can't rememeber warm weather and I am dying to have my tan back!!! Oh well. I get more excited every day!!

Weekend Fun

So today is Monday, the end of a four day weekend, and it's back to school tomorrow! This is the last holiday or break before the baby comes! This weekend was fun. Paul's family came in town. Holly and Coen also came up so we got to spend more time with little Coen, who is about 5 months now! He is already so big...but he is starting to "talk" more and smile. Paul even baby sat him! So the majority of the weekend was spent shopping and lounging around. We took Paul's family out to see our house for the first time. They have done so much to it! The brick and stone are up and they have dry walled the interior!! It's amazing how fast they are moving.I love how it's turning out!

Boo:
-Writers strike needs to end NOW...I need my Brothers and Sisters!!
-It's been way too cold outside!
-Im getting big.
-We start our research paper unit this week....oh dear! PLEASE PRAY I MAKE IT!!

Yea:
-Holly brought me a TON of baby clothes.
-The real Greenlee is back on AMC! Love her!

A Great Christmas!

Well Christmas has come and gone already! This year we were very busy! We celebrated with all of our family, in many locations across Texas!! So needless to say I am very happy to be home and relaxing. My mom got to come in, which was great. There was lots of gifts and lots of eating! It's amazing how much Lane is already loved by so many people! He got so many gifts this christmas and he isn't even here! He is going to be so spoiled! I started my third trimester this past Thursday. This part of the pregnancy I must admit is kind of scary. I feel like I am getting BIGGER daily!! I can see the end of the road ahead and I can't believe that in three months I am going to be a mom!! We still have so much to do, as far as moving in....and that is starting to get a tiny bit stressful! But we are going to hang in there and enjoy these last few months as two!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful hoilday and New Year!

The Best Time of the Year

So as you can see, I did make little Lane a stocking. I just couldn't resist! He is here in a way...and yes Paul made fun of me a little bit! Get over it!! So we are a week away from x-mas break and I couldn't be more ready. Four and a half days of school left and they are going to be crazy I'm sure. My students and I both are in need of a break! I absloutely love this time of year...the decorations, the lights, the songs, the baking....all of it!! This month is flying by and I'm sure the last part of it will as well! So here's to slowing down this week and enjoying Christmas!

On other news, our house is making progress!! The frame is coming up!! YEA! I will post pictures as soon as I get out there to take them!
